Rise of Asia in 21st century




Almost all the social movements within the context of Asia was resulted according to the prevailing social issues. Due to caste, ethnic, sexuality, and due to political concerns, these have been aroused by challenging the prevailing systems within the society. In Asia, there are many visible movements within East Asia and South East Asia.

Accordingly, feminist movements, liberal movements, racial movements etc., have played a significance role within these few years. Because with this Covid Pandemic, social issues have developed rapidly and public was badly influenced. So the rise of social movements within the context of Asia is significant. As I mentioned above these movements have carried by the public in order to receive the necessities they do lack from the prevailing governments.

In earlier days, many revolutionists didn’t receive expected identity within the context of Asia, especially within South Asian context. For example within the latte years feminists hadn’t a voice within the society and they were marginalized in terms of politics. But within 21st century, revolutionists were accepted by the societies and as a result many social movements have taken place within this era. 

 
Among the organizations within Asia which facilitates these movements, SAARC and ASEAN play a major role. As they have stabilized to promote the wellbeing of the society, they are active participants within these movements. As they are politically powerful, they do support these movements politically and financially but still there are hidden conflicts within those organizations and the governments within the Asian territory.

With the technological developments, modernization, urbanization and unpredictable natural disasters, almost all the societies do suffer while social elites do earn by employing these circumstances. Accordingly, middle class people and lower-class people have influenced struggle against the main global view of the and high – class persons. As the societies have endangered they raise against the prevailing systems.

With the end of the cold war, these movements were expanded as they were not active within the early periods and it evolve into more apparent following in position or time the rise of nonstate activism fashionable the domain. Interestingly, while the People’s Movements in the particular political territory were fundamental and governmental in character, after movements bear exist fueled accompanying the voices of identity and rights of with regard to the welfare of mankind underprivileged ethnic groups.

My art life

               My artistic career began in 2011. My first art subject was music. I can play the flute well. But I am more good a  dancing. So I continued to learn dance. I learned both Kandyan dance and low country dance well. I also mastered drumming. Of these, I prefer to play the drums.                           I was awarded the School's Best Dancer Award in 2012. I also participated in dance competitions from 2011 to 2019. There were five All Island victories and several provincial victories.   In the meanwhile, I participated in dance festivals such as Independence Day celebrations, Gammadu Shantilarma, other festivals, and processions.  There are many such memories in my art life.  Many of them are fond memories. I will always love those memories.                   ...
