TEACH AND LEARN

This time, Lahiru was only too happy to obey his. He brought all his toys and arranged them as if they were all seated in class room. He asked her mother to occupy the last row as He was the tallest student!

"Now, why don't you take out your books and teach us exactly the way our teacher taught you today?" Mother suggested.

Lahiru ran and brought his school bag. He took out his social studies text book and began reading out the lesson taught  that day at school.

"Hay you, Supun and Charith!" Lahiru, who paused in the middle , threw a small chalk piece near the toy bear.  "I know you are talking. This is not a fish market.  this is a classroom. you pay attention or I"ll send you to the headmistress' room," He said in a stern voice, trying to imitate his social studies teacher. After reading out the lesson, Lahiru posed some questions to his 'tallest  student'  and corrected his when he answered one or two of them. wrongly.

The game went on for about half an hour and Lahiru completed  ' teaching 'all the subjects that were taught by his teachers that day.

Lahiru and his mother, along with the toys, continued playing the game everyday. Lahiru enjoyed the time with his mother.

When the results of the Summative Assessment were announced, Lahiru had got A+ in all his subjects, and he proudly declared to his mother, "See Mom, I got   A+ in all subjects even  without revising  the lessons everyday."

Mother smiled and nodded. He knew that "teaching is learning again".
